Anyone who purchases the Deluxe or Collector’s Editions of the Resident Evil 2 remake will receive the military costume for Claire Redfield. She will be sporting army green pants and a sleeveless military-style vest with a bandanna. It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, as Claire has never been in the military, but alternate costumes rarely adhere to reason - that’s what makes them so fun. The costume was announced through the official Resident Evil Twitter, along with a short video clip of Claire in action, donning the new duds....
As seen in the tweet exchange below involving Mercer on Twitter, a fan asked him if Capcom’s decision to not bring him back for the Resident Evil 2 remake was based on the same reasoning it didn’t ask Alyson Court to take up the mantle of Claire Redfield again, which could be related to the company wanting to hire non-union actors. In January, Capcom released Resident Evil 2 to critical acclaim. Now, at the end of the year, it has outsold the original RE 2 and is a serious game of the year contender. Gohmert and Clyde were the first two congressional members to receive fines for bypassing the security screening checkpoint set up outside the House in the wake of the January 6 Capitol riot. Their fines came shortly after the lower chamber voted to penalize members who avoided walking through metal detectors. Two different statements released by the House Ethics Committee noted that both Clyde and Gohmert appealed their fines. “Upon a determination regarding the appeal, the Committee will make a further public statement regarding this matter,” the statements read....
