The Independent are reporting that having failed in budging Monaco from their €40 million plus sale price for Fabinho, Manchester United have turned their attention to the Paris Saint-Germain and Ivory Coast right back Serge Aurier. This comes as something of a surprise, but Aurier is understood to want a move away - with Dani Alves having come in over the summer already, and Meunier still above Aurier in the pecking order, leaving his currently third choice right back - and United may choose this opportunity to strengthen their options at right back....

In a letter first published by Fox News, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) wrote to Rep. Schiff (D-CA) on Friday to demand that he appear before the House Intelligence, Foreign Affairs and Oversight committees for a private deposition. In his letter, Nunes claimed that Schiff did not have the jurisdiction to lead the impeachment inquiry, that he was more motivated with removing a duly-elected president than with public responsibility and said that he needed to be questioned on his handling of the whistleblower who overheard President Donald Trump’s call with Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskiy....

The RNC provided its numbers to Fox News and noted it had brought in $10.7 million from November fundraising. Earlier on Monday, the DNC released its own fundraising report that showed it brought in $9.1 million for the month. Many races are anticipated to be close, as Republicans look to seize more seats in Congress, while Democrats look to expand on their House lead and take over the Senate, which is currently split at 50-50....
